the impossible thoughts

i think i might have to
love you
while my heart still resides in my chest
might have to write you a love song
maybe explain how my brain accepts you

but i don't think i'd be able to sing it right

slow and blue
the way i miss you
but its not just the rhythm
combined with all the jumbled words off my lips

wait, replaced them, cluttered and fumbling
left hanging by the most impossible thread
